In this project we visualized the propagation of public events in Sina Weibo (microblog). A helical visualization is designed to show the repost process, including repost chain and levels of reposts. We also visualize the relation between users' gender and influence (a combination of follower number, repost number, and comment number), region and sentiment, and gender and sentiment.
